You know what's weird, coming back after an extended break and asking yourself what the hell is actually going on! This is a common phenomenon and no doubt has some really weird psychological name for it. Nevertheless, this occurs in all factions of life whether it is in the workplace, at school or even blogging. Yes i have taken a long break from blogging due to personal reasons (stemming from lack of motivation) however i believe that like many other problems i'm having in my life there is some new hope.
Now recently i've asked many people "why do you wake up in the morning" and aside from the fact it convinced a certain person to not wake up the following morning and endowed another person with intrigue, it remains the main problem i'm currently experiencing. With the winter chill making the bed so inviting, how does one possibly reject such temptations of slumber after a night of holy-shit-this-assignments-due-tomorrow syndrome keeping them up? Most would say: "to get to school you idiot" soon to be followed by "otherwise i'll get disowned by my parents or something". After writing on the train (yes i'm weird like that), i finally concluded the reasons i should wake up in the mornings: to see friends, to disprove the stereotype placed upon my personality (one of laze) and also cause school just might actually help (doubt it).
Aside from my rather average problems, it seems that other people are also disenfranchised (thanks to the repetitive English substitute who honed in such a word by mentioning it countless times). It seems that a lot of people are going through rather bleak times in turns of motivation. Indeed it must be said that Bs does not mean the end even for Asian students. Of course, not all the problems stem from school and others are co-curricular (if you count girls as such). You know, despite all the cliches and idiotic banter derived from Hollywood movies such as my personal favourite, 40 Year Old Virgin and American Pie, it doesn't really matter. The interpretation of what doesn't matter is unique but nevertheless holds true, it doesn't really matter, it's just a phase.
Speaking of phases, recently another phase has well, seen the grave. Age of Empires Two would be known to bring much joy to many of its loyal followers and although superseded by far superior games in terms of graphics, its game play will forever be remembered. RIP. Games aside, i still cannot believe that i managed to write a two thousand nine hundred word essay on the American Dream. Of course the majority was ranting and probably idiotic, it remains a personal achievement that unlike the victory of Age of Empires, is actually one i'm proud of.
Note the new template of my blog which is inspired by many people considering the recent change of themes of many blogs i follow. Like this blog, perhaps my life will follow in its footsteps, maybe i just might have a new hope.
Eating WEIS Mango Sorbet because it is the best so bye.
XD Botong told me to read his quotes. Funny stuff man, funny stuff. Why does one wake up in the morning? IMO it is simply to be awake, to see, to think, to know that I am alive. That in itself is reason enough for me to wake up!
