inception

blew my mind.

That aside, it's weird that as i do more and more mathematics homework, my desire to write is subdued. You could say (as one of my lame friends would) that my mathematics and writing are inversely proportional. This would explain the general trend that as my English grew to exceptional heights of brilliance, my mathematics plummeted to new depths of terrible. Long story short, excuse the discount in the quality of my writing.

Back to the topic we all are wondering. Of course on a "study" day, we thought it would be wise to see Inception which i must say was just unbelievably, incredibly, totally out of this world, mind blowing-ly crazy (in the way it makes you jizz with its movie genius) when you come out, filled with concepts that never existed before with things that were never there before. Of course, in true conventionally fashion i must explain my perspective on it. Indeed one of the many reasons why it is so popular and successful will have to be its openness to interpretations. A dream is something so closely aligned with true desire that once one is in such a dream, one's willingness to accept it as reality is immense. Throughout the film though, love is indeed a central theme. The love of children or a partner, may be the driving force behind many actions. However, perhaps the essence of love itself may just be a dream that has been interpreted as reality. Or maybe its better to say that all dreams (or rather goals) may just be accomplished if one believes them to be reality. Positive thinking indeed.

On the weekend though i ran the city2surf for the second time and i did fairly better than i did last year, clocking in a 1:17 as opposed to last years 1:46. Of course, the "la pelaton de high" did get to a good start, but then fell apart quickly in the first two kilometres of the race. Nothing beats a medium rare piece of beef, especially after a 14.4km effort. So if you do the maths, i had about 52g/km worth of steak which did come up relatively well the next day. Indeed it really does not seem right that someone, who tried so much harder this year, only improved his time by less than five minutes, narrowly missing out on the cut-out. Much like many things, sometimes you regret not putting it in that little bit more, if you just ran up that one teeny hill, didn't eat that heart attack in a box, or just practiced one extra session that week, you might just have accomplished a dream that can only occur once a year.

Just today i decided to clean up my junkyard of a place and discovered none other than the diary i bought to get organised. Nevertheless, it remains relatively unused nowadays and brings to mind a wise little (sometimes evil genius like) man once taught me. That consistency is key, and if you just make excuses now, you are going to keep making them for ages to come. So in efforts to do so, i have now tried to do work every night in the grace period between now and the looming examinations just around the corner. Perhaps it's just enough to prevent me from falling back into the pits that have made people doubt my genius and of course, beating the evil genius would be one of my dreams.

Indeed with so much competition in the blog market, i have decided to further the brilliance of my blog. Of course, in clear literary sense, you are now reading one of the very best, in artsy-fartsy "nu-" indie style, i have much to account for. Nevertheless you now get to experience a new side to the teh journey you've never before encountered. A picture of sheer brilliance, you better keep some tissues handy. WARNING SPOILERS:

Reading synopsis and Wikipedia entries for Inception like everyone else who was mind-blown so bye.
